A sense of place.
A sense of you.

An imagined Northern California design studio with a point of view: a home can be considered without feeling precious.

We are drawn to the things that feel better with time. Honest wood. Soft linen. A little imperfection. Rooms with enough restraint to let real life in.

How we think about a home

Personal, before polished.

A room should make sense for the people in it. We begin with the routines, collections, and small habits that make a home particular.

Materials do the talking.

Texture carries what color cannot. We put natural grain, hand-worked surfaces, and familiar fabrics at the heart of a room.

Room to keep becoming.

The best interiors feel collected over time. A thoughtful foundation leaves room for a new painting, an old chair, or a different season.

Aster Vale is a fictional studio created for the Sense of Place Studios portfolio. Projects, locations, and imagery are illustrative. There is no real design practice behind this demo.
