A dated family room became a warm, layered space with better storage, softer light, and a stronger focal point.

• Added oak built-ins to frame the fireplace and create real storage.
• Introduced layered lighting instead of relying on a single overhead source.
• Replaced cool gray notes with warm plaster, oak, olive, and clay.
• Anchored the seating plan with a vintage-style rug and lower, softer upholstery.
